Privacy Policy

At Juno AI, we believe your finances are your private business. We designed our app from the ground up using the Local-First philosophy to guarantee you retain absolute control over your financial data.

1. Microphone Usage and Voice Data

Juno AI requires access to your microphone only to allow entering expenses via voice commands. By using this feature, you agree to the following:

• No audio is saved: Your voice is transcribed to text in real-time. No audio file is stored on your device or on our servers.
• Secure transmission: The text resulting from your voice (the expense transcription) is sent securely and encrypted to our categorization engine.

2. Artificial Intelligence Processing (Third Parties)

To automatically categorize your expenses, Juno AI uses third-party AI services (such as OpenAI). We protect your identity during this process using the following measures:

• Total anonymity: The text sent to the AI is linked only to a unique installation identifier (UUID). We do not send your name, email, phone number, or any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
• Zero training: Our AI providers are configured not to use your expense text to train public language models.
• Sin retención en servidores: Los textos resultantes enviados a la API (n8n/OpenAI) se procesan temporalmente en memoria para su categorización y se descartan de inmediato. No guardamos un historial de tus peticiones ni grabaciones de audio en ningún servidor externo.

3. Local-First Storage

Juno AI's architecture ensures that the complete history of your expenses, categories, balances, and budgets is stored exclusively locally on your device (via an SQLite database).

• We do not have centralized cloud databases with your finances.
• If you delete the application, all your financial data will be irreversibly deleted from your device.

4. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy. If we implement significant changes (for example, optional cloud synchronization in the future), we will request your explicit consent within the app before applying such changes.

5. Shared Lists Synchronization (iCloud)

If you choose to use the optional "Shared Lists" feature, data is synchronized through native Apple CloudKit infrastructure, ensuring encryption and security within the Apple ecosystem. Juno AI does not have its own servers to store or read this information.

6. Usage and Performance Analytics

We use third-party tools (PostHog) EXCLUSIVELY to collect crash telemetry and general interface usage metrics 100% anonymously. NO financial data, amount, or voice transcription is sent to our analytics systems.

7. Tus Derechos sobre los Datos (GDPR & CCPA)

Tienes el derecho absoluto de acceder, modificar y eliminar permanentemente tu información financiera. Al ser una aplicación Local-First, tú tienes el control directo:

• Para eliminar permanentemente tu historial, saldos y presupuestos, simplemente desinstala la aplicación de tu dispositivo. Esto destruirá la base de datos local al instante.
• Si utilizaste la sincronización en la nube (Listas Compartidas), puedes borrar tus datos ingresando en tu dispositivo a: Ajustes > [Tu Nombre] > iCloud > Gestionar almacenamiento de la cuenta > Juno AI > "Eliminar datos".

Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using the Juno AI application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Nature of the Service

Juno AI is a personal expense tracking and categorization tool. The App does not provide professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Financial decisions you make based on App data are at your own risk.

3. Artificial Intelligence Accuracy

Our AI-powered categorization engine is designed to be highly accurate. However, due to the nature of natural language processing:

• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in expense categorization.
• It is your responsibility to periodically review that your expenses (amounts and categories) have been processed correctly and adjust them manually if necessary.

4. Data Responsibility

Given that Juno AI uses a local database on your device:

• You are solely responsible for the physical integrity and security of your device.
• We are not responsible for the loss of financial data caused by device breakage, theft, reset, or accidental uninstallation of the App.

5. Subscriptions and Payments (If applicable)

Certain premium features may be available through subscriptions processed via the Apple App Store (managed via RevenueCat). Cancellation, refund, and payment management policies are subject to Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
